IBPS photo and signature size requirements
IBPS online forms (PO, Clerk, RRB, SO) check both the file weight and the pixel size, so matching both is what gets you past the upload step.
- Photo: 20–50 KB, 200×230 px, JPG.
- Signature: 10–20 KB, 140×60 px, JPG.
- If your IBPS notification states different figures, follow it — caps can shift between recruitments.
Hitting the IBPS 50 KB photo limit cleanly
50 KB at 200×230 px is comfortable room for a clear face, so your photo should still look good. Type 50 as the target and let the app binary-search the quality down to fit, then glance at the preview to confirm it landed under the cap.
Set the output to JPG even if your phone saved a PNG or HEIC — the app converts and resizes together. If the form is fussy about exact dimensions, center-crop to 200×230 instead of free scaling.
Signature at 140×60 px and 10–20 KB
The signature box is small and the KB limit is low, so expect a bit of softening — that's unavoidable at this size, and the app simply gives you the best quality that still fits. A couple of things help:
- Sign in dark ink on plain white paper, then crop tightly to the strokes.
- Set the size to 140×60 px and JPG, with a 20 KB target.
- Use the preview to make sure the ink is still readable before saving.
